From the City...
So the last recipe roundup I did a couple of weeks back was actually a pretty good motivator. I made more than half of the recipes and for the most part they were amazing. Simon still talks about the homemade hamburger helper and the tortilla soup was a bit of a soup show stopper.
So I'm doing it again!

It just so happens that tonight we had quesadillas so I have literally everything to make the vegetarian tortilla casserole found here.
I buy a lot of sweet potatoes and I usually just bake them
but this recipe looks just too good to pass up.

Mark the farmer was here on the weekend and he brought me a lovely bunch of local organic kale, so here's a good to make use of it in.
The little dude's first birthday is right around the corner and it seems only fitting to make him a big old chocolate cake for the big (little) day. So here's the recipe, I think, I'm going to use.
