Yes, these chicks came from the incubator. It wasn't a very good hatch, only got 9 chicks! Kelly, thanks for the kind words,you should do the bark yard chicken thing! 2-3 chickens would lay enough eggs for the family. The only hitch would be the winter. I have been toying with the idea of a chicken rental for city folks. The idea would be that they would "rent" a ready to lay hen for the spring/summer/fall months and the birds would come back to the farm after that. Toronto does'nt have the bylaw yet though.... Laura
