I am trying to not make this post super cheesy... BUT I will say this. My children are the love of my life and Millie is the cherry on the most beautiful cupcake I could have ever baked. You know the one with the butter cream icing and the pillow soft texture? Yep, that's the one.
We went to the Early Years center to play this morning (our once a year tradition), then the grocery store, we plan on a walk down the road and then her favourite dinner. Creamy pasta with cheese and peas (Mark has a fancy name for it that I can't remember...) and I am making flourless chocolate cupcakes with strawberry reserves and vanilla ice cream.
I am not only one around here that has been bitten by the love bug. My Nate made this handmade Valentine for a special gal in his class.

she likes to figure skate so he put one on the front... |
When I asked him what he likes about her he told me that his favourite thing was that she was good at school. He likes the smart ones- I can get behind that. He has also recently asked me about making out and how I can help him to get her to notice him. I don't think I am ready for that.
I feel as though Nate and I have some big talks in the near future.
Oh boy! Happy Valentine's Day!
Gosh, I can't believe how grown up she looks in the first pic. I love her. Happy birthday Ms.Mae.
ReplyDeleteNate; that boy, what a little heart melter.
